GWO Training

We coordinate and resolve emergency incidents ocurring within our market area

Group Stier teaches GWO training courses. The acronym GWO responds to Global Wind Organization, a non-profit association of wind turbine owners and manufacturers with a worldwide presence. It aims to support an accident-free work environment in the wind industry. The Basic Safety Training was created to ensure a consistent and recognized basic training by the wind industry itself. Almost all wind farms are far from urban centers, so it is vital to know how to react to possible accidents. In 2012, the GWO published the Basic Safety Training (BST) standard consisting of four modules for work in land parks “Onshore”; covering the following aspects: work at height, first aid, fire fighting and cargo handling. At Grupo Stier we offer courses with BST certification of First Aid, Work at Height, Survival at sea and Firefighting.
